During the dreaded lockdown of 2020 I found myself like many others struggling for things to do. There's only so many Netflix shows you can binge before getting bored so I decided to dust off the sketchbook and get to work. These are a few of the drawings that I really enjoyed. Some of my skills definitely needs practicing but I feel with time they will improve.

Rick-nom: Drawn on 190gsm Bristol board and inked with Sakura micron fine liners. Coloured with a blend of Copic markers (Cool grey 1 - 5).

Venom: Drawn on 190gsm Bristol board and inked with Sakura micron fine liners. Coloured with a blend of Windsor and Newton Promarkers. Inspired from The Amazing Spider-man #347.

Hulk: Drawn on 190gsm Bristol board and inked with Sakura micron fine liners. Coloured with a blend of Windsor and Newton Promarkers. Inspired by Immortal Hulk #7.

Hulk face: Sketched on 120gsm sketch paper. Inspired by the art of Dale Keown.

Spider-man / Thor: Drawn on 190gsm Bristol board and inked with Sakura micron fine liners. Spider-man coloured with a blend of Windsor and Newton Promarkers. Thor drawn along with @theboxofficeartist.

Baby Groot: Drawn using Procreate for the first time on the iPad Pro.

Sonic: Drawn on 120gsm grey toned sketch paper and coloured with Prisma premier coloured pencils. Inspired by the 2020 Sonic the Hedgehog film.
